Are you running on road or off? Two speed is not race legal for 1/8 buggy. If you are doing it for the heck of it, go for it. Never liked 2 speed off-road.

erm are you wanting to know the details or just what it does?
i believe it allows a lower ger ratio for good acceleration, and then a higher gear ratio for more top end speed rather than having an in between ger ratio. dont quote me on that though

havent had a race....yet had min for a few years but had no way to get parts an fuel, i started drivin last year cuz i got a job so now i have the money an only one place for it to go my new found hobbie. once i get it in shape ill start racin. that is if i can find a track near my house, there was one but it closed.
