I have a Hyper 7 pbs that I bash right now, but it is about beat to death. I race 1/8 buggy and have specific cars for racing that I never bash, and a "beater" to practice on in my back yard where I have a track. The Hyper is durable as all hell, but I think its ready to be retired. I was looking at the turmoil as a replacement, does it handle well and take a lot of abuse? I am a lot harder on my practice car than my race rigs because i'm not trying to be as smooth and not woried about it cartwheeling at full throttle till it hits a fence or tree etc. The Hyper has only ever had the pivot balls bend, and I broke one front diff housing, but those were due to some serious abuse. Will the Turmoil handle (turn) better and stand up to the same punishment?

One of my friends has the Turmoil Pro as his basher. I love the buggy, as it handles very well and is great around turns etc etc.. It is pretty solid, but not as good of a basher as the Hyper 7. The Hyper just takes abuse like no other buggy.

I have a turnmoil and I bashed the hell out of it. Only thing I have broke was a rear control arm from hittin a 4x4 post on the deck. The stock motor sucks along with the servos but other than that its a pretty tuff buggy

Well, can't comment on the turmoil but I have a Hyper 7 PBS and so far it has handled the power and torque of the Picco P-3 .28 and the JP3 pipe I installed with no problems, also has been cartwheeled, flipped, and wrecked several times at the track ( not all my fault ) with no broken parts, yet.
