Every day posts seem to be wiped off RCU for the last week!
What is going on. I refuse to re-write advice 3 times over cos RCU can't get its sh*t together

Sorry. We were hacked for a 4th time this week last night. Our team has been putting measures in place to stop them but they are of course determined so we play cat and mouse. I'm sure our patience will outlast theirs and we continue to track exploits and patch. We will get this fixed and i have additional resources coming in today to look at this. we only lost from 3am est to 7am est last night which is a slow time for us. Due to the injection of bogus data is is safest to rollback our databse to the last known good state rather then risk unwinding the transaction and missing something. again we apologize here but appreciate your understanding as we deal with these perpetrators

They're not just scripters. RCU is not that easy to hack. Unfortunately, they are very clever, it's SQL packet insertions masquerading as forum posts with malicious content hidden in them, it seems to be fairly deliberate attacks. They've already been patched out twice before, and keep finding a new way in. RCU is not the only site being hit. Still, the impact is so negligible on us, it's virtually pointless, we lose a couple of hours of posts, they have to find another way in to spread their mildly irritating content, they're really wasting their time, and the sooner they realise that the better. Don't worry about it guys, we'll have them locked out again soon. I hear another solution was reached today and is being implemented. The first round of intrusion testing proved secure. We'll see. Like Marc (RCAdmin) said, it's a a game of cat and mouse. Probably schoolkids with a talent, seriously.

I guess I am a little lucky then, since I access RCU on my cell all the time. Viruss don't bug my phone.
Clever or not, the little "script kiddies" need to get a life.
Hacking an RC hobby forum??? Explain to me what the hell is the point in that, honestly???
Hey "script kiddies", Star Trek is NOT real, move out of your parents basement, and stop thinking that the religion of INTEL is the only true god.

I forgot, the judge told me to stop making reality altering comments.
That's ok though you can just rject my reality, and substitute your own. Seems to work well for President Bush. lol!

By the way, were you trying to quote Adam from Mythbusters, or did it just come out that way?
