Best buggy for aggressive style driving?
Some opinions on what buggys are best suited for aggressive style drivers? What buggys like to be thrown into corners with the brakes locked up and and gas pinned comming out? I know the Losi is a "driver" car where its suited to roll throughs in corners and to be driven like an onroad car, so what ones like to be "thrown around the track" Not looking for bashers, just race level buggy opinions.

Im sure the losi could be set up for that style, maybe changing the diff oils to heavier in the rear and lighter in front, that should let you whip the rear on a tight corner, very high risk of spinning out though...

I don't know any buggy that would suit a driving style described above. a basher buggy perhaps??? driving like that isn't the fast way around the track, no matter what buggy you're piloting.

it seems that all the aggressive drivers at my track are using kyoshos. but since they are sponsored, who knows...

RE: Best buggy for aggressive style driving?
Any good buggy can handle aggressive driving is you set the roll center and your shocks properly. But that is not the fastest way to drive. It is great to make a pass from time to time but it is alot faster and safer to come in fast tap your brakes and roll the corner untell your car in straight and then lay on the power. It may sound slower but your lap times will be more consenstant and your tires will last longer giving you more control at the end of long mains

and you'll get a lot longer runtime out of a tank of fuel. ie 8:30 instead of 5 minutes. is one of the best improvements i've seen from a driving style change alone.

My observations...
The Losi favours smooth drivers, and is twitchy when driven aggressively.
The Xray and the Kyosho can be setup to drive any way you want, and do not favour any particular driving style.
The Mugen MBX5 favours aggressive driving, but can also be driven smoothly.
No experience of Hyper 8.5 or RC8 to express an opinion.

I disagree with the statement the Mugen "Favours aggressive driving". I think it is better said that it favours smooth driving, but is more forgiving if driven aggresively.

Thats pretty much how I drive my RC8.
Point & Shoot.
I think it actually drives better when pushed harder.
