Default motor time?

but whitch one? i need an easy to tune, and run motor. it would need to be pull start or shaft because my dad is starter box incliened. i might be able to do a bump start if its easy. i was looking at some of the rb and os motors but i dont know whitch one is a good one.

If you are racing go bump box. Pull start is just not good for racing. Plus if you are looking at the RB .21 series I do not belive they even have a pull start available. RBs would be the first motors I would recommend have been easy to break in and easy to tune.

You should check out the Go Tech motors. There race motors are bump start and come with the bump start backing plate already installed but the sport motors are pullstart. They have been super easy to tune for everyone in my area that has them. Also for the price they are hard to beat for the performance you get. Another good one is the Axial's. Very easy motor to get tuned right and hold a tune very well.

Go tech is not part of novarossi but from what people say, the performance is supposed to be close. I have never driven a novarossi so I cannot say. STS motors I have heard are hard to get parts for and real finicky to tune. Just what I have read but never owned one.

GO are make- beleive Novarossi's. They are not as fast or as nice but they are OK for the price.

I would stay away from STS. I had a modded .21T. it was OK, if anything it had a stable idle. Hard to tune. Crank pin broke.

Someone is a nova fanboy

Nobody ever said the Go techs were novarossi's just some people compare them to them in performance. Personally I wont pay $400 for an engine that has hardly anything over my Go tech for half the price. That and Go tech are great about replacing things that may go wrong.
