This weekend at Revelation raceway, (The Badboy of RC) Jeremy Kortz put his Hyper 9 in front of some of the fastest racers in the industry, by winning the RC Pro Series this weekend...

He had to bump up from the B (where he started in front, and stayed there for the entire race), and then start from the rear of the pack, with nothing but TOP Pro's in front of him. 45 Minutes later, the Hyper 9 rolled across the finish line if first...

Where was the D8?[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] LOL
he just got the win because the guys on front had problems... he was just close enough to get the 3rd spot.... and ohhh god... the guy finally gets a win... Cavalerie ran out of gas on the last lap... dude!! just one driver in the US HoBao team, IT MUST BE FOR A REASON!![X(][:'(]
Yes and if it was not for the Losi guy flaming out the D8 would have come in second at the worlds. You know what they call that RACING. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
stick with the looooooser team old man!!!

I would like to post a quote from another forum and MX 250 knows where it comes from!

MX250, seriously, if you don't have anything positive to say, just don't say it and keep it to yourself, we know you don't like the hyper 9, and it's ok, you don't have to like it, you can always skip the Hyper 9 section, oh and btw, I don't mean to start anything like before, just my $.02 cents.

is all good Carlos!! and I honestly started to like the buggy and can't wait until it comes out.. and if I have the opportunity to get one (meaning the cash) I will for sure., heck... I've been racing HoBao products since 2004 so, why not getting one.

HoBao international team driver Ashleigh Frensham conquers the Australian Nitro Challenge 2008 in style. Frensham, driving his Hyper 8.5 Pro, put on an awesome display of talent in front of a very vocal crowd of spectators. Ashleigh won an unprecedented 10 out of 10 rounds of racing showing no mercy to the other drivers.

The Australian Nitro Challenge, held over 3 days, is the biggest Nitro Buggy prize money event in Australia. Ashleigh's amazing performance bagged him 4 trophies and over $3000.

Hyper 8.5 wins in Spainish Nationals
Having taken TQ yesterday Hyper 8.5 & Robert Batlle continued to stamp his authority on the Spanish offroad racing scene by winning the 4th and last round of the Spanish nationals held @ Santa Olivia. Finishing a lap back in 2nd was Daniel Vega, followed closely by Richi Gomez driving an updated HN/Jammin X-1xCR. The overall championship ended with Hyper 8.5/Batlle on top, X-1xCR/Richi Gomez in 2nd and Hyper 8.5/Borja Hernandez taking the 3rd podium place. Speaking to Batlle he expressed that it was a team effort throughout the whole season which has helped him to victory. Ultimate Racing also conveyed their thanks to Robert's team for their fantastic job; Armiche Aleman, Carles Batlle, Robert, Rebecca and Ruben. We understand Batlle was running a 300g lightened car this weekend in preparation for next week's Worlds.

Hyper 8.5 Hobao factory driver Graham Alsop took TQ and the win at the prestigious Apex GP at Slough.

Graham had a hard battle for pole position with RC8 driver Elliott Boots, but it was the Hyper 8.5 who came out on top to take the qualifying honors.

By taking TQ Graham avoided the lottery of a semi final and this was what accounted for Elliott and meant the young man from Kent was unable to take his place in the main final. Elliott was unlucky as a receiver lead pulled out and ended his challenge.

The main final saw Graham drive fast and controlled, using his power package to stretch out the fuel stops to 10 minutes which gives a big advantage at Slough due to the very slow pit lane. Graham went on to win unchallenged from David Crompton and Jon Hazelwood.

Hobao Team with Robert Batlle and HN Team with Richi Gomez, made their mark at the 2008 European Champions finishing two and three in the final. Using OFNA products Hyper 8.5 Pro and Jammin X-1x CR/Fe the teams placed 4 OFNA buggies out of 12 positions, way to go! OFNA offers these same winning buggies in the U.S. market and is continuing to work with both HoBao/Hyper and HN/Jammin to improve the teams in 2009.... Just Wait and See!

A fantastic weekend for Christoffer Svensson, dominating the whole race from start to finish. 2x TQ, 2x pole position and wins in both buggy and truggy was the order of the day. In the buggy main, starting as car 1 Svensson lead, was 2nd on the 2nd lap, then then grabbed the lead and drove away.

In truggy Svensson started out front but was passed by Hazlewood, they played cat and mouse for a while, but fast consistent driving and good pitstops gifted Svensson the lead on lap 16, Hazlewood had 2nd place wrapped up until lap 38 where center diff issues (melted!) forced him to retire. neobuggy.com

From you post you will take a H9 as well. [X(] I will not post an opinion till they hit the streets and there are some end user reviews. If I get a H9 I will post my honest opinion good or bad as I am just an old man that tells it like it is. [X(] I am defiantly old enough not to go to a brand or model thread and bash that brand or model no matter what my opinion is.
