From: Dead Center,
Im not a fan of the new line engines, seems they always have so little issue. All brands have troubles with the first roll outs. Keep in mind, I never said go engines were bad, their just new on the market.
Ive had every brand made, OS v-spec are nice, rb was ok, novarossi are good, Im running a sirio this year and its performed flawlessly.
Whats your budget? Under 200 look into a novarossi 3 port, 250 would be a v-spec, 300 plus is your sirio rb grp ninja range. Have even more than 300 to spend, OS speed.
A reminder, turbo plugs cost more than standard plug, so if cost is an issue, look into a standard plug vs a turbo plug engine.

I run the GO's too. I had a .21 7-port in my buggy and it was nasty! Put it in my truggy and dropped a GO .21 3-port in the buggy and much easier to drive.

Go's are good bang for the buck. I run a RB and it is very easy to tune holds a tune like a vise. The S3 which is what I run is under $200

You certainly get what you pay for. If you wanna race, and have fewer headaches, a more expensive mill like the RB S3 or S5, or a comparable Novarossi or OS or Sirio is a better way to go...
For what it's worth, according to RB, standard plugs are the way to go for off-road. I don't remember the explanation on why; probably because I didn't UNDERSTAND why

For araound $200 the Go Tech race engines are great. I would go with a 7 port turbo or the 3 port race 21s for buggy. You can get a Go Tech mill from vnmsgt, he is a great guy to deal with.

I've got to say that I like the OS speed the best, but I think these four engines.. (I found on sale right now) have to be the next best thing out. The new Sirio STI, the new Trinity Extech, the new RB WS73 L2G, and the new ninja JX21 are the new bad boys on the block. In fact the new Mugen Ninja JX21 has the same crank as the OS speed...!
check out the sale I found here:
