gt a-6 battery charger question
i didnt know where to post this but since it for my losi 8ight starter box it sorta fits here, i bought a GT A-6 battery charger from my lhs and a lipo battery, i went to charger my lipo for my starter box and it says connection break, all the connections are good tho, i plugged in a glow ignitor and it charged it just fine, could my lipo be wired wrong?

RE: gt a-6 battery charger question
If your lipo battery has more than 1 or 2 cells in it, you'll need to feed the current to the lipo through a "balancer".
Take your battery and charger to your LHS and check with them which one you'll need. Good luck.

RE: gt a-6 battery charger question
its a 4S, they said i might need to get some kind of an adapter for it, and btw my charger has a built in balancer, but if i wake up early enough tommrow im going 2 take the charger and battery down to the lhs and see what they say, i just spent like 150 for lipo battery,80 for charger, and another 20 for a 12v converter so this better work LOL.

RE: gt a-6 battery charger question
I have had a dynamite lipo faulty from horizon (swapped directly with horizon) as well as a trex lipo which I dealt with lhs to swap for a new one ... if its only been days since the purchase I would return/exchange it because its faulty ... if you can make sure original leads/connectors are soldered nicely do so , if not still swap them

RE: gt a-6 battery charger question
well now that i understand it more and ive worked with it, it seems like a great charger, this is my first upgraded charger but im happy with my purchase, has many options for protection, and it didnt break the bank like my lipo battery did HAHA
