I have 95% of the upgrades available for it and everything is runnin great except my clutch. Ive had it for like 2 months maybe, i replaced the clutch that was on it because it was worn right after i got it. And i replaced it with the gold/silver spring and the composite/ aluminum clutch pads. And the first time i replaced it, the set up lasted one race and then the bearings were shot. and all pads were worn to nothing. i replaced it again and i went out last saturday and it ran fine, then i took it out wed and i knew somethin was wrong so today i tore it apart and my inside clutch bearing is shot and my aluminum are worn to nothin. can someone help me out with what is going on?? and btw i had my lhs install both clutch set ups because idk how to install the clutch but know i do because i watched

Switch to green springs on the composite shoes and gold springs on the aluminum shoes. Also use the Dynamite Max Life aluminum shoes. Make sure your mesh is correct and everything is shimmed properly... The manual tells you how to shim it correctly.

Bearing failure in the 8ight has alot to do with gear mesh. It should be set a little looser than most other buggies because the chassis flexes so much. What many people do is use a piece of notebook paper in between the gears to set the mesh correctly. But on the 8ight, I've read that you should double it up to get the mesh a little looser.
Another thing to watch for is to make sure the engine is squared up properly. In other words, make sure the clutchbell isn't engaging the spur at an angle. Make sure the engine is sitting straight in the chassis.
