Default diff question

I have a losi 8ight RTR buggy and i just removed all of the grease from the diffs and replaced it with 5/5/1 (F/C/R) oil. the diffs seem to be very rough now and very loud, i have not run the buggy yet, i have just noticed this spinning the wheel on the bench. I am assuming this is not normal, anyone have any ideas as to what went wrong? thank you for your time.

Loosen the screws on the front and rear diff cases , not the actually diffs but the cap you put on after putting the diff in . Tightening to tight can push the diff enough to make them too tight against the pinion gears .

did you put the shims back in and on the proper side? Also check how your input shaft is hooked to the pinion it may be pushing the pinion in and messing up the gear mesh.
