Is there any difference in fuels?
Can anyone tell the difference between Sidewinder, Byron's, O'Donnell's or Nitrotane? Maybe one smells better, but is there any discernable difference in power or tuneability?
Is there is huge difference in power between 20% and 30%?
Seems like all the fuels are just the same.

RE: Is there any difference in fuels?
Brand is not the only thing to consider all so blend. I recommend not more then 12% oil content. If only bashing 20% is fine but if you want the little more edge for racing run 30%. I have ran all the ones you posted but Nitrotane. I have all so tried about half a dozen others. My favorite is Byron Gen 2 3000 and second is O'Donnell Race but hot there R2R has to much oil. I did not like Sidewinder Worlds near as much as Byron and O'Donnell. Yes to me there is a huge difference between brands.

About the smell, all those you listed are about the same, but I do remember White Lightning, that had a totaly pugnent smell to it. You could close your eyes and tell every time it went by.
