Instead of everyone starting a new thread for their CORR trucks/Conversions, I though maybe one thread were everyone can compare notes etc would be beneficial. I haven't got a CORR truck but am definately interested in finding a 2nd hand roller, and making one. I can see this becoming very popular in the very near future, based on the few I have seen.
Post away folks, look forward to seeing them all here

Here are some more pics. I have taken off the aluminum hub carriers and put plastic ones on because the front tires were sticking a bit forward so I had to do some suspension mods and didnt want to shave the aluminum hubs. I also dont like how you can see inside the truck from the front wheel, so I did some custom work so you cant see inside anymore. Looks clean and I am going for a realistic look. Looks like my bashing days are over.
Look above the front wheel. Cant see the insides anymore. I know I am a loser [

Any my rot, Racco!

I am trying to convert my buggy to a CORR truck, but all I got so far is a truggy type thing, lol. I started with a sportwerks mayhem pro and changed the front shock tower along with the front shocks. Then I replaced the whimpy little .26 with a Dynamite .28 with tuned pipe. Got some bigger tires and a losi body (cuz I have yet to find a truck body that will fit 1/8). I am gladly accepting tips, pointers, ect.

Here is my conversion, a Kyosho Kanai 1/8 buggy converted to CORR style truck. Added a Slash front bumper, Slayer rear bumper, Proline Hardcore body and some custom body mounts. I also converted the nitro Kanai over to brushless power.

Regarding the shocks, I don't really notice any diference. But then again I don't run the truck for more than 10 or 15 mins at a time. I hear that the extra oil provides more consistant dampening when used for longer periods that actuall heat up normal shocks.

Ive ordered a bunch of parts to convert an Ofna Dominator to a short course truck. Im getting the impression the only way to do tires and wheels is by using the stock buggy 17mm hexs. I ordered a set of Slayer tires and wheels thinking I could change my 17mm hexs to 14's but after some more looking I dont think thats gonna work. Does anyone know of a short course truck wheel and tire combo for a 17mm buggy hex? Ive got good buggy wheels and tires now but Id like a set of beadlocks.

I thought CORR trucks were 2WD. They look like buggies with truck bodies to me.
