Default Best Beginner Buggy

I am looking for a 1/8 scale buggie and was looking at the Losi 8ight rtr or Associated RC8RS
Which is easy to handle, and work on, and to get parts for?

Yep , you are comparing comperable buggies. just pick the one you like the best. You can ask 200 people & get 200 different answers. I would go for parts availability in my area. Also i get a lot of my parts off ebay.

I'm not sure about teh handling part for either, maybe teh Losi would be.

But as for parts, go to you local RC store ans see what they carry more of. If they carry more Associated, then go for teh AE. If they carry more Losi stuff, get the 8. Which ever you get, you should be able to learn its nuances and settle into them and master the whole RC

Caster Racing ZX1-R RTR hands down...... LOL! Had to reply with at.

Being serious though out of the choices above I think the Losi would be easier to get parts for locally but I think the associated would be easier to work on and easier to drive for a beginner.

If these are the two the shop carries just check which one he's got more parts for and get that one.

+1, if you want ease of getting parts just from your local hobby shop get the one he carries the most parts of and I think you will be the most satisfied of you want to just go through that store.

What radios do these cars come with?? That could be a deciding factor as well.

In that case, it is all Losi then. Spektrum radio included.
