Will the engine mounts that come with the pro kit accommodate a pull/roto/spin start? Or will i have to buy the rtr mounts?

No the pro mounts will not work with a pull starter style engine. No way I would run any other starting system with my 8 pro or 8.5 pro other then a starter box.

Well im buying a hyper 8.5 to bash with, no point racing them... they only make good bashers. So its allot easer to bash with a smaller starting system. My 8ights for racing

i was in my hobby shop today with the exact same question and they said the engine mounts were exactly the same
