Where have you got your end posts set? Can you get it in the right position if you remove the end posts?

I have a thunder tiger starter and i had to slightly extend the slots (drill them out) for the end posts to line it up with the flywheel on my hyper 8.

You might need a bigger flywheel. See if ones available.
