Can I use a stick radio?
I have run traditional trigger radio's for a while now, and jsut wanted to know if I could switch to a stick radio for my next buggy. I am not looking for pros and cons of this setup. Just wanted to know if the airplane stick radios are compatible/useable for a buggy? marc

RE: Can I use a stick radio?
You see guys in Europe that run with stick radios. Yes it's certainly possible. But in the states using rc aircraft frequencies on land vehicles is a no no. Of course you can always get 2.4ghz stick radios!

Here's the Airtronics M11 in a stick version:

KO's killer stick radio. I think this is similar to the one Andy Moore uses:

RE: Can I use a stick radio?
I started with stick radios, at the time I coulm't afford then ( I was 16), I always found it to be very easy to use for car control, Kanai use sticks radios, there are some 2 channel radios that use 75Mhz but they are too old for being usefull.
Go 2.4 stick or get a pistol radio, they are so cheap now you might find something to your liking.

RE: Can I use a stick radio?
Hitec also has 2 stick radios available.
Sanwa has a lower spec one below the teh Super EXZES.
I use the EXZES with a Spektrum Pro module and its perfect for me. My first option was teh Futaba but the EXZES was considerably cheaper at the time.
