Yes, but buy a new one, since you will have to drill different rear post and antenna holes. I attempted to upload a picture of a hyper 7 with an 8 body on it. In this case, I mounted the rear post backwards, so I could interchange the body with my 8.5 (since the 7 is my back up buggy). Note extra antenna hole.
