Default thinking of ditching my Xray

I am giving some serious thought to getting a new kit for the coming years race season. I'm a weekend racer for a couple years now. I currently run an XB8 but it just gets out handled by the Losi's. D8? an 8? What do you think? My Xray just doesn't have the on-power steering and sppedy cornering that I want

If it's aggressive steering you want, then the Losi 8 2.0 or the Xray 808 would be the way to go. I would try fiddling with your setup a bit more though; unless you really would rather buy a new buggy.

The owner of ModHobby is now running a Caster 1.5R and was running the Losi and X-ray 808 and says the 1.5R out turns it and handles the rough stuff way better without being twitchy like most other buggies. He took 3 seconds off of his previous lap times he said.

808 if you like and already know about Xray.... but some times a change can do some good. In that case the mbx6 and D8 are both sick out of the box. see what you local HS is stocking.... that will save some early exits on race day! Ron
