Default Does the glowplug need a washer. O.S v-spec

This is my first O.S vzb and just want someone to confirm that the plug that comes with it does not need a washer. Its a T-Type(turbo plug) P3. I am going to get a couple spare plugs, should I get the P3 or the P6? Thanks for answering my question. Ken

As well, should I put a shim behind the flywheel collet? And how do you tighten the clutch nut without turning over the engine? Thanks

No, turbo plugs do not need a washer. Use a tool to hold the flywheel and tighten it as hard as you can. The crank is super strong so go crazy when tightening it.

As for tightening the clutch nut I used a cloth wrapped around the flywheel with channel lock pliers and used the proper sized socket and snugged it up nicely without a shim. Hope this is right? What about the washer with the glowplug?

Thanks for your quick reply pyromania. I will snug it up a bit more. And I'm good to go without a shim between the collet and bearing right?

im guessing you have an 8ight, so yes you need 2 shims between the colet and the bearing and I use one shim infront of the front bearing and screw to hold the clutchbell

Crap. I already have the flywheel on. I have a spare collet. Can I remove the flywheel and use the same collet or do I have to replace it. And what size shims? Thanks

Its all good. I'm new. So no shim between the collet and engine bearing? The clutchbell I should be able to figure out for proper clutch play.
