I heard the GS Storms are good buggies but I don't have any experience with them. I know there are a couple of different versions but I don't know the differences between them.

Get whatever buggy appeals to you the most and with regular maintenance and checking over (with any buggy) you should be happy and just fine. The GS is a great buggy and has won numerous championships overseas in the past years. Nothing like buying something you are not drawn too because of people pushing it (we all do it lo!) and everytime you see it you think, "man my buggy is ugly"!

I for one like ugly things. Heck I drive a 76 scout.
www.hobbypeople.net has the SH ZMXB-8 kit for 199. for that price you could almost set it up for the price of a midgrade RTR

I don't recall the guy asking "What to buy?" He asked is the Storm CL-1 any good?
Why do people feel the need to push what they have on everybody else?
The CL-1 pro is a decent buggy. Not sure on the engine or radio as the one I played with had an LRP engine and JR radio.
I remember being quite impressed. Mind you it was a while ago now.
I think for the money and if you can get spares and you like it, you will be OK with that buggy.
