Default Diff. Question

Hey guys. I got a Ofna Ultra LX comp and recently im pulling it apart to replace annd the parts with brand new upgraded parts, and i noticed the front Diff when i pulled the whole front end off had a piece of thin plastic of itself and the compartment like tape kinda...is this normal? or is there supposed to be like a plastic cover over it? Also theres a good amount of grease in there...that i know should be good right? Thansk guys

Do you mean sealing the diff into the bulkhead? I would clean them out and fill the diffs with oil. This means you need to remove diff from bulkhead, disassemble diff, clean, reassemble, and reinstall. Then regrease pinion and crown gears.

Do you mean the gasket that goes between the bevel gear and the diff case?
