what I have done is use a exstention nut that holds the flywheel down, but also has the shaft on it for your clutch bell, you might have to shorten the crankshaft alittle bit to get the exstention nut to tighten the clutchbell down good, Ive used them on several diffenert bigblocks that had shoet crankshafts and its work great! hope this helps!

DO NOT shorten the crank.....IF anything shorten the Ofna extention to suite the job.

The Picco .26 "Max" engine is intended for use on T-"Max" trucks which is a different engine mounting dimension altogether. The standard Picco .26 is probably what you've been seeing on the 1/8 scale buggies. You're in for some aggravation if it is the actual "Max" engine.

yeh your rite the engine does not really fit in to good, i can do it but there is some mods to be made, it is a max engine, i had it in my REVO, i replaced it with the red dot engine, now its on the shelf, the mounts i have r differerent to oh well just a thought i only have maybe 1 gallon thru it and it still runs strong, theres not much else this engine will fit in, i have a force 26 engine in my buggy now [pretty weak] thanx for your help guys
