Default Steering issues

Ok i have an XTM XT2, and just did an engine swap, i was the one with clutchbell issues(got that taken care of, runs great). before i swapped engines it turned fine, now obviously changing engines wont do anything to the steering, and i didnt mess with anything to do with the front end when i changed engines, but now its not wanting to turn sharp at all, it'll turn so far and then i can physically turn it an inch or 2 farther, the servo just wont turn it all the way. does this mean the servo is going out?

the servo could be going out, but check for anything that might cause binding. check your servo saver to make sure it isnt too tight. Sounds dumb, but check your batteries also.

Also check the teeth on the inside of the servo horn. had mine strip when the servo saver was too tight. Would act just like you said.

Sounds like the EPA (End Point Adjustment) may have been accidentally changed.  I would check that.

Lower end RTR radio's rarely if ever have EPA adjustment...therefor upgrading the radio is kinda critical if you want the full performance out of the machine and radio.

I honestly dont know what radio it is, i bought the car from a friend. all i know is its a cheap duratrax radio. I replaced the batteries both in the car and in the radio. checked the servo horn, wasnt stripped. there is no binding that i can tell.
