Default fix or replace?

I got a OFNA Picco Off-Road RTR buggy a few weeks ago and I got a chance to take it to the track. While at the track I managed to put a dent in the pipe where the stinger is. I was wondering if there was a way to fix the pipe or should i just buy a new/better pipe?
heres a pic of the pipe its not the best but you should be able to see where the dent is.

Alot of theory could be thrown around as to how it affects the engines tune, etc. Just replace it if the damage bothers you, pipes can be bought cheap online anyway.

same thing happened to mine. if it didnt hurt the tune of the motor then dont worry about for now. if or when u have the money to replace make sure u get a pipe w/ a gusseted stinger outlet. i went thru 2 pipes like yours and now have a dynamite platinum pipe and dont have to worry about it anymore.I would recommend a jammin jp3 or jp4 if u have the bread.

It dosent really seem to have affected the tune to much so i think maybe ill just stick with this one for a little longer untill I can figure out what pipe to get.

Yea I have been looking at the Jammin JPpipes and I like them. I went to my LHS to see what pipes they had that would fit the buggy and the only thing they had like the Jammin pipes with the reinforced stinger was this Losi pipe.www.losi.com/Products/Features.aspx Would that pipe be any good or should I jsut go with a Jammin JP-3/4?

will really effect the tune is if your fuel line gets stuck in the clutchbell/spur gear, thats mighty close there, ouch!

One thing you could try, and I have done this personally popping dents out of my dirtbike after I drop it on the track. I seal the pipe off at one end, fill it with water, seal the other end and freeze it. You could give that a whirl and see if it can pop it out.

This man knows what hes talking about. Plus its either that or toss it, cant't hurt to give it a try. Just make sure you dont split it.

Extremerc12 you have a smoker?

I've also gotten dents out with ice.

Make sure you keep an eye on it, it could split the pipe if you aren't careful.</p>
