Default Wheels wobbling

Hey, i have a Sportwerks Mayhem buggy, and for some reason all of my wheels are wobbling. Some are worse than others. My CVDs are not bent or anything. What could be the problem?

Your tires are unbalanced. Get a good tire balancer.

Yup.  But balancing may not help or might not be worth the time/expense.  If the tires are old, then your foams are shot.  Balancing will help initially; until whatever is left of your foams starts to shift.

I put brand new tires on the my car, so i dont think the problem is the tires.

Brand new tires are still off-balance.

do you ue bearings in your wheels? they could be getting severely worn and causing this too. I just had to replace my skateboard bearing not long ago for the smae reason, and I have seen it in RCcars as well...

I am checking the bearings. How do you know when they are worn out?

they should roll nice and smooth, not play between the inner & outer races, and no grinding feeling like there is dirt or dust inside.

By wobble do you mean side to side or up and down?

They wobble both ways. Is it possible it could be the wheel hubs because i changed them (put sportwerks turmoil hubs) a couple weks ago, and they are a little bit bigger than the original (the hole that fits into the CVDs).

its most likely your hubs. the harder you run it the faster the pin hole will wear out. also check to see if your arms ar eloose too see if they wiggle where they connect to the diff casing.

Hi Mate, I had the same happening with my mp777 kyosho, I changed the bearings all round and problem solved, so I think it could also be the same problem with your buggy, try it. Have fun.
