Default idle issues

Hi everyone, Im having quite a problem here and i was hoping someone could help me out.
I have a duratrax raze with the 27 super tigre and just recently I cant get it to idle proper. I have to hold break all the time cause theres too much power there! I tried adjusting the idle screw but didnt help, (currently approx 1 mm open). I tried to richen low needle(as per manual) but nothing helps. One thing I have noticed is that it goes through a tank of fuel really really quick now, And when Im just about out of gas the car runs PERFECT. Could this be cause im too rich??????
please help, Also car has been broken in a long time ago.
thanks

Default RE: idle issues

Does'nt sound like a rich condition but an End Point Adjustment, check to see if the throttle is closed with the radio on, it should be closed to where you set it with the idle speed screw, if not turn the dial down to where it idles good, other than that it could be an air leak somewhere on the engine, good luck.
