i am planning on building a 49cc buggy
i used to have an hpi on road with a .18 motor and a truggy as well
and a bunch of planes but i sold them all off and all my stuff for them

also i searched for a long time and i saw that car. i am a very picky person.
theres not many styles i like.
i mainly into
certain types of truggys, and a few buggys.
im not so into monster trucks.

i really like the baja 5b and now im wishing i would have gotten it but they seem kinda slow with the 29cc motor thats why im gonna build one with my brand new 49cc 4 stroke

The hpi baja comes with a 23CC stock, the HPI baja SS build it urself kit comes with a 26CC neither of them come with a 29CC. Also a 49CC motor does not fit in the HPI baja with out some major mods to the chassis........AND last but not least a 49CC 4 stroke will be ALOT slower than even a 23CC stroke since the 2stroke will hit a much higher RPM.

well i was close,.... hahah

i know 2 stokes hit higher rpm but i have a high rpm 4 stoke motor and i plan to build my own not put this motor in a baja 5b
i like the 5b's but they seem slow and powerless.

i will post pics of my project as i go with it.
and if your right about my motor not being enough well then i will get another 49cc 2 stoke. thats not my biggest worry.

my braking system is what worrys me now. my motor has a clutch already and i plan to use a differential in the rear with a drive shaft directly from the motor.
hell maybe it wont work like but i will work the bugs out.

i dont know if you can use this engine, but craftman weed whackers use a 2cycle 32cc engine. all i know it goes through weeds like nothing and they come with a clutch.

yea mine has a clutch as well i am thinking of doing chain and sprocket to a live axel.
because it has the clutch already.
i dont really need independent rear suspension so i will do like an atv style rear end. live axel.

I like the MadStorm. The tires are so big and the body is so low, don't think u can break any of it. It looks like u can almost run it upside down. There was an review on youtube also. I also looked a lot at the redcats and liked them, I than looked at the Exceeds and like them better. They seem to be a little better in quality. I own two Kyosho's, older Rampage and a mp7.5. Love them both. I am going to get a MadStorm. Luv the vid and the way it float's. Also nothing up high to break. I have to order all my parts online anyway. I have some Exceed parts on my mp7.5. I got them like super quick, and the quality was good, and they were cheap.

yea, i am the op. i dont like the ones with the really low body's that kept me from buying allot of truck models just for that reason.

I am just saying that the higher up and the more stuff sticking out(wings) the more chance's of breakage no matter what brand.
