Because they are a pain in the butt to tunem and they wont hold a tune for nothing. i have seen, in a bunch of occasions, people get so mad with them they lean them out, start them up, and hold wide open till it blows.

i also had one and it would run amazing and you will shut it off and when you crank it back for the next heat the tune would be off, to much tuning for me.

i loved my GRP but they are no longer a company. also have had STS, Vspec, OS RG, Jammin JPX 21, and Nova plus 4 is by far the best engine i ever ran, it wasnt mine but i tried one and ill be getting one soon.

but now that i have tried Nova ill never run anything else, im running a 150 buck nova and it pulls my jammin truggy no problem and tune and leave it.

also Alpha engines are good too, for a buggy the green head one will be the best.<br type="_moz" />

dont use nova plugs, and no OS plugs in the engine either, to hot for nova, run OD or McCoy. also on pipe the dynamite 053 or 086 will be the pipes to get for Nova, i personally love the 053. im getting almost 10 min in my buggy with the nova sport engine, the 21 BF limited runing the 053 pipe, O'donnell 99 plug but i do have an O'donnell cooling it helps alot!

Jammin JPX 21 and if money is really no object, get it modified by supertib (here in these forums).

Or OS Worlds and have that modified as well. Just upgrade the front bearing at about a gallon and it'll be sweet.

These are my 2 choices.

plus 4 is better than the RB S7 in every way IMO, its faster and gets more run time.

the JPX is awesome but is a freakin animal, to much for a buggy IMO, i have one BTW.

also the alpha engines are AMAZING!

but still plus 4 is the way to go IMO.

I like the fact that the JPX is an animal! How much would that guy charge me for modding it? Price on the JPX is just right too.
