Okay I've been ofiliated with the hobby for about 4 years now, I've never really did anything other than bashing. I wanna get into the race scene, it just seems like somuch fun. Besides getting a typical high end race buggy which I just got a losi 8ight 2.0, what are some other steps I should take. I've always been a very competitive person, and I learn very quickly.
Any suggestions???
Thanks

is your losi a kit or rtr. if you going to get into racing your going to need alot of tires and wheels. your going to want lot of spare parts like hingpins, glowpugs, clutch shoes, spur gears, good hex set snd a little more to be a amature in racing. its kind of hard to list everything because there is alot. i have been racing for 9 years now and if you have any question just private message me .

Um, I bought it on ebay and im not sure if its a kit the guy built or if it came rtr, but I know I gota hell of a deal on it. I have pretty much all that stuff except the wheels. I'll only be racing on one or two tracks depending on whether or not I make my own. Do tires wear out that fast or do you just need different treads for differen't tracks?

well kinda both. if you run alot and race every weekend the bearing and tire wear out pretty fast. when ever you race stuff weaqr out pretty fast. but usually u only need 2-3 pairs of wheels if your staying at 1-2 tracks. would be glad to answeranymore questions'
