HoBao PBS RTR is beefier than the original hyper 7, got a few upgrades on it..

Shark. I was pissed because you were mocking me in the first place, that was the reason for the whole blow up, you think I was typing for my health?

G35Coupe do you try to insult everyone that posts on this forum? I have now seen you do it twice and end up wrong both times. You must be really insecure...I hear those Enzyte pills can help you out if you are so desparate as you show.

Also:
1: I NEVER said Knuckles would last 3.5 gallons.
2: Nobody said anything about tires in this thread, which shows even more that you are deliberately trying to insult people, to cover for your own insecurity.

Calling the MP 7.5 Sport a kit is a bit of a stretch. Unlike the kanai cars that are actuall U build it type kits, the sport "kit" is all but built out of the box and you simply install your radio gear and nutNbolt it.

is this a kit or rtr? http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/produ...3c1318c73cea5d because all of the other hyper 7s i have seen are $450+

RE: Kit or RTR

if you plan to get a hyper 7 rtr then why go ahead and get the hyper 7 PCR RTR it is a step up from the pbs and comes with EVERYTHING but fuel, a great way for a beginner to get into the hobby.

G35Coupe 05-01-2004 11:35 PM

RE: Kit or RTR

If you plan on racing I do not recommend the PCR, because the Pull start gets loose and drags behind the car on the track( happened to my buddies a week after he got it) And it robs power, you would have to redo the lower internals to get rid of it, The laydown servo tray is trash and doest do jack (this can be and has been debated to my conclusion) and just complicates the linkages on the servos unnecessarily., and the money saved ($60-150) you can use that to buy a PBS which in my opinion is the better model and get yourself some better servos.

I really want a decent buddy but i don't really wanna spend over 300-330 uk pounds (about $570 maximum)
Well looks to me like your going to be either braking your budget or going with a RTR. I don't see how you could get a kit running under $800. Lets just say, $450 for the kit, $150 for the Engine, and like at least $200 for some have way decent electronics. Oh don't forget wheels & Rims.. +80, $880

Unless of course you already have some of these. If not your stuck with a RTR, with a few upgrades and some good tires.. my opinion is to get a RTR and then go from there.
Thats what i did, GS Storm RTR.. ( They have the best Radio of all RTR and i have to say its a great car. Once your replace a few weak parts )

RE: Kit or RTR

Its a Kit, but it does come with a engine.. most likely it still missing the electronics, tires and you will have to build it.

RE: Kit or RTR

Sorry I was wrong, From what Ofna is saying on their web site, Link three below, the Hyper7PBS is a RTR, But you will still need a Radio & Receiver.
Check out these sites to find out more about that kit your looking at

G35Coupe 05-04-2004 04:54 PM

RE: Kit or RTR
