He should have said run over the neighbors dog...cats cheat by climbing the nearest tree[:@]

Really the PBS/PCR rtr are not that bad... but the pro kit does provide better driveline components and more suspension options instead of cheezy electronics.

BTW, the laydown servo tray is more difficult to work on...but once you have done it a few times its as easy as tying your shoes. I do like the snap on ball linkage of the PCR, the brakes stay in adjustment after removing the servo tray for cleaning.

RE: SO WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

I wasn't trying to say that either the PBS or PCR are not good buggies, both are actually one of the best RTR's out there for the price. But, the servos are way to slow to race with (as with any RTR), especially the steering servo, it will strip out after a few crashes anyway. The pipe doesn't allow the 8 port motor to perform well either.

We tested a PBS last year at our track, and after decent servos. pipe and tires, the car was pretty responsive and competetive on a club level. The 8 port motor has lots of top end, but a little sluggish on the bottom, heavier clutch springs can compensate for that.

Currently we race a PCR Pro which is as competative as any pro level buggy once it's set up right. ;)

One of the best RTR's on the market right now for the price is the Jammin X1, we'll be testing one of those soon.
