Yea I love my Violator I had a lil run away too lol nothin happin to the car but it blew my piston out on my rb ws72 x3 so......I was pretty upset! My fail safe didnt even work!Someone had the same freqency as me some where down the street so o well.I got a v-spec in it right now and Im trying to get the spectrum as a new FM radio.Just order a 15th clutch bell from tower hobbies with a 50th spur gear.I would of got the 2 speed but I heard that those arent all that good if u go off road alot.I will get some pics of it later on.

I`ve been have-n a blast with mine...! I`ve since changed to a 2spd trans and a few hop-up`s and wow this thing haul`s arse. I also like the Force .32 EZ start. I don`t race ..just play around here in Daytona. Out of all my RC toy`s this Violator is one of my favorite`s.

yea you got lucky with your runaway mine went strait into a 3 foot retaining wall and had a good 100 foot full throtal head start. ha ha but its been a few months since ive messed with it since then. i just dont have the money it will cost me around over 150 dollers on parts ill get some pics of it and show you its horable and wat sucked was that my other car had done the same thing about 2 weeks before that in the very same spot wich is really ironic. but besides that its probly got to be one of the best cars that ive gotten so far.

no runaways arnet good her are some pics of the after math thay dont look reallly bad but trust me they are. and my car i really dirty cause i havent cleaned it in a wile and cause it ben collecting dust so here you go take a look it sucks. o and i fugured out that the reason it ran away in the firt place was because one of the wires went bad in my power switch.and just look at my profile pic or my photo gallery cause i cant figure out how to gat the darn pic to get in the box.

Well I had alot of races with mines. For sum reason I beat the cars I didnt ever think I would b able to beat!I ran over my dads nitro 4 tec because him cut n front of me and I guess I was goining faster then him cbecause I ran him over and kept goin and when I did that I cut off his throtle servo and his muffler so he had no control to his car and crash going about 50 sumthin into a brick wall.....yep

I got a question for everyone. How well does your Violator handle on the track?Alot of people say that the Violator isent all that good of a car when it comes to handling the turns because its so wide.I just wanted to know has anyone had any problems with it because I havent but I havent really been to any big time races so who am I to say.

RE: Official 9.5 Violator Thread

It does have a wider turn radius than the other buggies I have driven but that is easily solved. You can cut off the outer hinge pin holes to make it ROAR legal and it also reduces the turning radius. With a Dremel this only takes a few minutes and you will see a big improvement.

Have the stock force .32 so far and I am happy with that for now but I might be looking to upgrade in the near future.

I dont really know much bout big block engins even though I had one.Which big blocks have alot of top end speed?

Force4x4 04-18-2007 04:59 AM

RE: Official 9.5 Violator Thread

Most big blocks are all about torque because it takes torque to get a 1/8 moving and on the tracks torque wins races. But some big blocks that have good top end are the Werks Racing team line .28, RB WS7 III, or the RB C6BB T7 just to name a few.[>:]

flash07 04-18-2007 08:45 AM

RE: Official 9.5 Violator Thread

I thought the rb ws73 and the c6 where .21 engins.

Force4x4 04-18-2007 09:09 AM

RE: Official 9.5 Violator Thread

They are, but they are designed specifically for 1/8 buggies and truggies so they are high horsepower and high rpm engines. I believe that the ws7 III is rated at right around 3 hp but I am not completely sure about that, but if you want a true big block then the werks tl28 is a good choice as well as the nova 528 but the 528 xrs will run you about $400 while the werks is about $300.[8D]
