Latest Model

Here is my latest airboat built earlier this year. It was a proof-of-concept model for a design dating back to the 1940s. For awhile there was established international racing for these boats. Anyway, here is my rendition, along with what the originals looked like. This is a fun boat to run and a bit different than most.
Floats - 34" for a .40-sized plane
Motor - Scorpion 4020-8
Props - 13x6.5 and 13x8
Voltage - 4S1P/5000 mAh
ESC - Castle ICE100

Maybe its control line ? I doubt the full size was though...
That Is the first Ive seen of the full size float plane minus wings - wish I could see a side shot.

Control line - LOL! My R/C model (this is RC Universe isn't it?) has an air rudder under the aft fuselage. This was a racing class in the 1930s and 1940s, not modified airplanes. The racers use water rudders for control. Here's a different racer from the side and a model of another racer.
