Default what type of radio you use???

i guys!

Just wondering, what type of radio do you use? Stick or pistol? I'm looking for a new radio and can not decide! Any pros and cons?

Thanks!

IMO the pistol gives a feeling of better control, more realistic. Easer to hold on to.

I use a Hitech pistol, inexpensive am 75mhz, on my play boats and it works just fine. The Lynx has trim controls, servo reversing and a thumb control for reducing and increasing the steering control. John

I use both, but for boats I prefere sticks.

Some stick radios have a detent on the throttle stick, whick holds it in position for less finger fatigue. After using stick radios for XX years, you kinda get used to them.

The simple stick 2ch may not have any bells and whistles, but I don't find them necessary.

Besides......they are inexpensive

I picked up two prime, unused Aristocraft/Hitec's off the bay for $5 each a short while back.

Terbo...............OMG..........

you really are old lol

I try NOT to date myself too much, even though I'm still in my prime after 4 1/2 decades.

I used to have a 'Brown Box' futaba, not as fancy as yours.

Got any plans for the stick radios you got?

Hey PRO ..

NAW .... that ones just a baby ... gots me a few others that might jostle the age area ..

The one above , I thought someone would comment on that it has a WHEEL like the pistol grips ... [8D] and its a CONQUEST ( and narrow band to boot ) ... ( hummmm ..... strange ? You tell me ?

I could show an old yellow/gold metal cased one , but , hey , that might REALLY show some age then ...

So , this one will be as far back as I'm gonna show .... Oh yeah ... and the best part - its on one of those channels that you don't have to worry about someone else running ... ( LOL )

It's strange to see a Kraft radio in anything other than their trademark gold color[8D]
