Any one have plans for a simple motor platform for a .25 with duel rubbers? The single rudder system on my airboat just dont cut it. Does not turn like i want it to.

Before you re-do your rudder and possibly mount , tell us what the boat is doing , or not doing , that you do not like . We might be able to tell you what might be wrong . Could be a simple fix rather than you having to re-do the whole mount .

boat is 28inc long by 10inc wide. 3 keel bottem with a .25 motor. It just dont turn that good for me. I know a bigger motor would realy help but i cant build one of them. Yet.

Could you get a picof the rudder set up and bottom of your boat?

28" is a bit big for the .25, in my opinion. My boats are 26"x13" and powered by 46's.

3 keel bottem with a .25 motor
Do you mean a 3" keel protruding from the bottom? If so this will keep the boat from sliding when turning . I'm not sure of how you are wanting the boat to turn. Do you want it to track like its on rails when turning or are you wanting it to slide when turning?

How for is the rudder from the prop? can it be moved closer? the closer the prop is to the rudder the better it will turn.

I think my problems solved, the MDS .48 is giving me tomuch power and tomuch speed.

I do have another prop pitch question. What is a good pitch? I only have 9inc from shaft to base of boat so a 9inc prop is all i can use unless i want to make a new mount or raise it up a bit. Right now im using a 9x5

9 x 5 is too small for the 48, get a 9 x8 and a 9x9 to try. on my 45 I'm turning a 10x7
