Default Which type of Receiver?

Hi Guys,
Have been following the forum for some time now and the airboat bug has caught.

Have my Hull Built and painted (23 X 17 foam and expoxy covered).

I have all the equipment required except the receiver. Going to use a OS .46 LA for propulsion.

My question is this:

I have a Hitec 4 Laser(75Mhz) for a scale boat that I built last winter. For my airboat I am trying to figure out what type of receiver I will need to use with this radio. I have surfed the net and checked out the forums.

Can I use another such as Futaba , Airtronics or JR ?

I know I only need a two channel but if I am correct with my radio I will probably have to buy a least a 3 because of it being a FM radio.

So bottom line which receiver will work with my radio?

Appreciate any input. Thanks

Found my answers after more research and reading. Ended up purchasing a receiver from a local dealer.

Any , as long as the shift is mated/matched correctly . Two channel is the minimum you would need though . Rudder and one for throttle and of course , match out whether FM , AM PCM , etc , etc .
