nope. It will push air.....but at only a fraction of the efficiency it should have. Props are designed to run in one direction only. If you turn the prop over, you are essentially running it backward.

You guys understood that I was talking about the motor shaft being pointed to the rear and turning the prop over that way right? Not just flipping the prop over on a forward facing motor.

If you now have a tractor setup, and you change nothing except for turning the engine around......you'll go in reverse. If you flip the prop over, you'll still go in reverse...only slower.
If you want a pusher set up, you'll need a pusher prop. There is no way around it. Unless you can get the engine to run in the opposite direction.

You can only run a tractor prop on an engine set up as a pusher when you either run a reverse crankshaft or you have an engine with a removeable front end and you turn it 90 degrees and reverse it's timing.
