Default need explaination

can some1 plz tell me how a rudder works on a remote conrol airboat i know nothin bout the parts or wat they do plz help me i want 2 make a boat that runs land

I think you need to sit down and do ALOT of reading. Download videos etc. Looks at Cajun gators site, he has some nice boats and vids, the design is limitless, its all up to your imagination.

Just to try to get you going, here are some VERY general ideas...
Flatbottom hulls are easy to build and can run pretty much anywhere with enough power.
Hull materials: Foam, wood, coroplast, metal, or just about anyting that can be made to float (On smaller boats, the lighter the better)
Electronics: Usually 2 channel ground frequency radio (Transmitter (Tx), Receiver(Rx), and 2 servos (rudder and throttle)).
Motor: Electric, nitro, gas
Steering: Air or water rudders, usually in single or dual configuration (little or no ground running with water rudders)
Radio gear in waterproof box.
Servos can be exposed and direct connected to throttle and rudder, or in waterproof box connected via flexible control rods.
