Nice ...
Please note .... I am by FAR no EP freak ... but do see something that might be of concern .
I notice thats a brushed motor ... and without knowing how many cells you are using , aren't you worried with the clamp style mount you got there , that the engine might over heat ?
Otherwise .... looks good and keep us posted

It will get hot but on 7 or less cells and the right prop it should be alright..., looks good by the way, cant wait to see how it performs

Looks good Andy, I'm working on a little electric also, about the same size as yours. Test ran it yesterday, and if your wanting to just relax and play around, electric power is a good way to go. I will also say that I was suprized at how fast this boat is. Not as fast as a nitro or gas, but fast enough. Keep it up, your going to enjoy it.

Had a chance to finish the radio box lid. It took a little time and fits like a glove.

Simply a work of art, fine job. The radio box is one of the most important parts of r/c boats. Great job, it looks like its gonna work well.

The little boat hit the water for the first time. I am very happy....she is quick enough and is stable.

Hi, one question, won't your steering servo get wet or is it waterproof?

Yes the servo is water proofed. I use rtv (silicone when water proofing my servos. I test my sevros under water for 10 mins to insure no problems. The picture below was a test on a different boat.
