Hi
This is my first scale RC hover what do you think?I am currently in the process of building an SRN6 MK1S a stereched version of hovertravells SRN6 that used to run across the solent it has been replaced by a modern craft the AP188/100 which wil be replaced later this year any qusetion please ask

Hi Tim , i have a plan for a Bovercraft, but have no deatails on the material used for the skirt, what have you used ?

I used Ripstop nylon or the common name is kite material there should be a shop that sell kites near you or the material to make kites where are you in the UK

I think there are plans on the scale model boat section by pierre, I have them somewhere, i put them on a disc if you cant find any, PM me i will try and dig out the disc

I got the plans from the following web site http://www.model-hovercraft.com/ the plans are free just go to the Griffon 2000 section thers links as well to other peoples site that have built the craft this site is great for pictures of the craft in construction and has full size skirt plans to download http://www.rc-hovercraft.co.uk/

Tim, I will check at the kite shop at Maidstone in Kent (if its still there) it`s only 20 miles away, I lived an hours ride from Leeds in 1999, but it rained all the time so i moved back to kent

It looks great. What kind of ESC are you using for your hovercraft? how many cells? Have you tried the larger 4 prop version? I've got a twin prop version & it's a replica version of the U.S. Navy LCAC. Here's some photos of the sea trials I did last year. I think I need a little mre trimming.

i am on 9.6 v batteries cant remember what ESC i am on but iall i di is email the guys at Mtronics tell him my set up and we go from there
