Default os 40LA question?

i messed with the air bleed screw today and i forgot where it was when it was running good does anyone know how many turns from close should it be...

Nick, not sure if you still needed help or not. With an airbleed carb, like the LA engines have, a starting point for the air bleed screw (low speed misture adjustment) is partially open. Look into the tiny hole in the front of the carb on the side nearest the air bleed screw. Turn the air bleed screw back and forth until you can see the blunt tip through the hole. Adjust it so it neither all the way closed nor all the way open, and that should get you close enough for starters. You will obviously have to run it and fine tune it from there. Hope this helps.
