thats gonna be hard to do since its already built. are you suggesting i rebuild the whole thing? there are a couple key areas that would be more or less simple to redo with lighter material. the front of the inner hull could be removed and replaced with balsa construction, all of the top skin could also be replaced without much hassle.
maybe ill get into that project after i test some more props...

i am a fan of electric, thats for sure.
i've got a couple thing in my head that i dont think would be all that difficult to get done. replace things with balsa, cut some hunks outta the motor mount. i think it is going to be a close call, but i bet i could get it under 10 pounds.
