A Day At The Pond 06-26-10 (Pics and Videos Added)
Who's interested in a day at the pond???
Gatorich and myself are inviting all who want, to join us in a day of burning fuel on June 26 2010. All are welcome to come and run! We are planning to be there at 9am ???

There is a retrieval boat at the location that will be available to all in attendance, and I am going to bring my generator for anyone that may need AC power.
Anyone interested can PM me and I will give you my cell number to help guide you in the day of the meet, or if you have any other questions.
We are gonna be running the entire day or until everyone has had their fill. Everyone is invited so bring the whole family.

This originally started out as just me going to hang out with Gatorich for the day. Then we thought we would see if any one else was interested. If it is only a few, thats fine with me.....if there's 20, thats fine also.
CLaser, if you take the address above and put it into Google Earth, you can see the pond. There is plenty of room to run and get the boats up to speed. [8D]

I want to thank everyone for coming out today, it was great meeting everyone and watching the action on the pond. I hope everyone had a great time, I know I sure did. Other than the sweltering heat it was a perfect day.
We have a ton of great video from today and once it is all uploaded it will be posted. There was a great variety of awesome boats and the action was non stop.
Thanks again to all, and I hope we can do it again soon!

It was a fantastic day, and a very gracious host. If meeting everyone and spending a day running boats wasn't enough, we were treated to slow smoked pull pork BBQ! If you missed out, you MISSED OUT!

Ok, I'm done. Sunburned, heat exhaustion, sliced up by all the weeds I had to walk through since my boat died on the FAR side of the pond... Yea, I had a GREAT time! [X(]

Sweet pictures!! Your camera is awesome.You really got some great action shots, and everyones boats ran great, It looked like you even caught that action shot of DJ hitting that stick.I think my SI 20 took the biggest hit though when it hit the only small stump in the pond [X(]. I'm very happy that you guys had a great time and got home safe. Great day and awesome driving we will set it up again soon.

Wow I totally forgot about this meeting, itlooks like everyone had a lot of fun, and also I see that it was very hot outside I see a lot of people going for a swim

I think everyone's boat died on the pond at some point. Even my rescue boat died while attempting to retrieve my Alligator Tours airboat.
The retrieval Jon boat that was expected to be at the pond apparently grew legs sometime recently. Still, not a big deal. As hot as it was, the water was a bit of a relief.
