RCAA 2010 Annual Get-Together
The RCAA is puttiing together a 2010 annual meet at Gatorich's pond.
14 SW Shorewood Dr
Dunnellon, FL
Dates:
October 16 and 17
There will be a late lunch served Saturday (Pulled Pork) yum!
Gatorich and Chris will be building a drivers stand for your driving adventures.
All are welcome to come and run!

I got four engines on the bench torn all the way down. Needed parts have been ordered and or cleaned. Getting ready to apply a dry film lubricant for reduced friction, longer life and added R's.

Sounds like you will be loaded for bear. I fixed the sheeting on my SI20 that met up with a stump so I should be testing it with a few minor tweaks soon.
I also put bumpers on my red boat for the race, but I won't get to use them until i'm lapping you

The pond has been seeing some good rain this past week and looks to be top condition for the meet. I went down there today and it was like glasssss

sold my BSB Hull and have to seal up logans boat and rework rudders hull had a lot of water in it from my sons hard running Troy stood it up on its nose turning but it pulled out without flipping boat. going to fiberglass resin all seams next week .

The boats are almost ready. I have a few more enignes to tear down and replace bearings and treat them with a dry lubricant. Two of the five I'm bringing and fine tuned and ready to go....

Since it does'nt look like I will be able to go to La. this year, I plan on making it to Dunnellon at least on one of those days. Looking forward to it. Hope I can get a group together to go over there. Are you planning on being there Crispyspa? I've met Chris, Rich, and several others at the Dunnellon meet the last time and had a great time. Dennis

Sounds great! I wouldlike to attend this event on the dates listed. The only drawback is if I can finish building the new boat in time. Please give me more details if any. Thanks, Chad

Anyrhing really I am coming over from Cocoa and want to make sure that I get to the right place. I looked at the last address and it looks like a pond with houses around it is it ok to run there or are the old ladys going to chase us off with their rolling pins lol.

It is a public lake for the neighborhood it is in that I have received permission to use. You can use google or google earth to get directions from your location.

I hope to attend also. Will be checking the family schedule & work schedule in the next day or two. Google Earth'd the new location, looks very good! But might be a LONG hike if a boat has a radio issue and decides to see what's on the far bank! Hoping someone will have a Jon boat or equivalent.
