My manual recommends using 20% nitro. Most of the fuel I have found for sale is either 20% or 30%. I was thinking about switching to the 30% race blend but I was wondering if it will make any difference??

For what boat? Normally a slightly higher nitro content won't hurt anything except for possibly lowering the engine life. When you go to a higher content, richen the needle a little. Make sure that you use a fuel made for boats, it will have more oil in it.

Haven't found any that is for boats, it all says its for cars

I've put some 50% in a Miss Bud before, not my boat though just to show the owner the potential that higher nitro gives him. You can buy an additive for the fuel, most Hobby Shops can get you Castor oil alone that you can add. you don't need much, generally 1-2 oz. per gallon.

How did the boat run with the 50%?

Anyone know anything about the Nitro Falcon from ABC.

Thinking about moving engine, servos, etc. into a V-hull.

I always use 30% nitro (with 18% oil) in my small engines. Until now my OS CZ 15 ran about 15 liters without any problems.
