<div>Please excuse my absolute ignorance as I am a total beginner just completing my first boat build which is a cat hull with twin motors and twin ESCs. My transmitter is a Futaba 6EX and the receiver is a R617FS. I have clearly connected something up wrong as (using right hand stick on my controller) if I push left on the controller stick my boat goes forward and if I push right on the stick my boat goes backwards.</div><div></div><div>Could anyone provide a suggestion to my blind stupidity so that when I push forward on the stick my boat goes forward!!</div><div></div><div></div><div></div>Thanks in advance. Mark

Some transmitters have a fixed 'modus' (car/boat or plane/heli)
There are some that you can change the 'modus' .
Or maybe you just have to plug your ESC's into other ports on the receiver.
But being a Futaba .. you can designate your stick's to whatever receiverport.
Just take some time to read your manual.
Just to clarify .. do you have a separate rudder ... or do you use the engines to steer ? (like 'tank-control')
