Default clevis problems

hello all i recently purchased some clevises for my rudder control rod at the minute i have those swivel connectors that come standard with the rudder where you have to tighten the grubb screw on to the push rod the problem i have is when you takethe swivel of the rudder bracket the hole is farto big for the clevis pinand therefor there is to much movementin the rudder. is there something that needs to be put in place to narrow the hole to reduce the endfloat thanks for all posts.

kind regards jordan

I've had the same problem. I make a bushing from brass tube or alum and size it too the pin. I've also used plastic tubing for the same thing.

Candy, that looks exactly like the rudder that Zippkits sells. You have to use that connector as it's oddly sized, at least here in the US.

I generally remove them & replace them with ball studs and a screw on cup.
