Smit Rotterdam
Hi all,
Totaly new to this forum. Have built tall ships before, Cutty Sark, HMS Victory. But always wanted to build the Smit Rotterdam. I have taken the plunge and it seems like a very good kit. I plan to built her for display as a static model rather than radio control. Box contents look great. No warping which i was a bit worried about. I have a question regarding the hull. Once i have planked it what do you recomand as a finish. I was thinking of fibereglass, but is there something that you paint on like a resin and what would you reccomend.
How do i start a build log, do i just add pictures to the thread or is there a special area for logs. Just seen the Gallery option oppisate and Models i take it that is where i do my log.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
