Default Daz Elson 'Rebel F1' paint

Hi all,

I normally hang out in another section, but thought I'd share some pics of an F1 Tunnel hull I'm working on. It's one of Daz Elson's superb mouldings, a lovely thing to work on.

Hope you like 'em :-)

Wow! Amazing paint work! How does it run? What are the specs and setup on your hull?

Thanks.

The Hull length is 45" (51" LOA with OB), Beam 20"

The design runs very well indeed, this particular one is an outboard away from that. I want a 'standoff' scale model come the end so I'm working on an OB without the necessary, but ugly, exhaust system on view. They are fitted with inboards here mostly, because exposed exhausts are not permitted in comps, but the hull is fine with OB's and I'm configuring an active trim setup along with some other things that are not your normal OB setup, as I have no plans to race. Early days.

Here's one with an IB engine. As it's a fairly new design boat there's others out there being built with regular competition OB's dotted around the planet, so it'll be interesting to see what those guys come up with.
