Default Good or bad idea

I have 2 boats

1 is a nitehawk chase (small but fast) and aside from the small battery no complaints

My second boat is a New Bright Radio Controlled 18 inch 6-Volt Donzi Boat. this is my recovery boat, it is super slow 2mph maybe (got crazy cheap used)

I like the size of the boat and I want to do it myself. What I am wondering is would I be able to get the below motor and ESC to work in this boat. I am assuming I will need a new shaft and prop as well. Any thoughts? I know I can just go and buy a decent RTR boat (my nitehawk was a RTR but would rather put the time in myself)

The parts would probably go in. Whether the hull would live through the conversion if the battery required to run it would also fit is another matter.

That is a car esc. If it gets wet it might go "up in smoke"
